Andritz's second tearing line at Buitex boosts recycling capacity, processing 2.5 tons per hour for sustainable insulation in bedding, construction, and automotive.

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order for the authority engineering of a 100 MW green hydrogen plant in Rostock, Germany.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in the advancement of sustainable battery recycling solutions.

ANDRITZ will supply a combi-line furnace for a new continuous galvanizing and annealing line to produce automotive material.

This partnership follows ANDRITZ’s development of the world’s fastest, most productive welding machine for welding one bipolar plate per second (1 Hz), matching the throughput of the Cell Impact forming process

The project will increase the unit’s capacity by 22%, from 100 MW to 122 MW. It includes dismantling, reassembly, testing and commissioning, as well as model testing and supply of new components.

This is the second green hydrogen order from Germany within 12 months & marks an important step towards becoming a leading industrial partner in the development and implementation of large-scale green hydrogen plants
